Within a setting of working-class America, director Matthew Bonifacio and screenwriter Carmine Famiglietti tell the story of the unlikely yet believable bond that develops between a blue-collar Italian American from Queens and an illegal immigrant. With deportation a constant threat to their way of life, the two men form a largely unspoken bond in the midst of seemingly endless racial prejudice.
