Newly engaged couple Izzy (Robin Tunney) and Peter (Joel Edgerton) shared a quiet, happy life in Los Angeles until a random act of violence exposed them to a new world of anxiety and uncertainty. As they each come to terms with the trauma, they will be forced to confront changes in each other's personalities, and the possibility that life may never be the way it once was.
