This drama paints the early life of Christian artist Thomas Kinkade in inspiring colors. GILMORE GIRLS' Jared Padalecki plays the future "Painter of Light," who comes back from college to learn that his mother (Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden) may lose their family cottage. To help earn money to save their home, Thom takes a commission to paint the beautiful town, a task which allows him a glimpse at the true beauty in life. Critical favorite Peter O'Toole co-stars as Thom's artist mentor.
