Africa's Kalahari Desert may seem an unlikely location to create an enthralling television show, but that's where the lovable creatures who populate MEERKAT MANOR can be found. The Animal Planet show first aired on British television towards the end of 2005, with the program makers closely following the activities of a group of meerkats known as the Whiskers family.
