Expanded Description Players take the role of intergalactic bounty hunter Ruff Trigger to embark on a special mission for an ultra-rich mega corporation, in this 3D platform shooter. With a third-person perspective and action-oriented control scheme similar to those in games like Ratchet & Clank or Jak and Daxter, players guide the hero to recover valuable cargo that was lost when a Vanocore Corporation freighter was forced to make an emergency stop near an out-of-the-way planet called Endust.
The freighter carried two products: cute little "piglots," and a large supply of "VPD" -- Vanocore Energy Drink. Piglots are a newly engineered species of house pet, designed to be superior to regular old cats and dogs in nearly every way. (As for the "energy drink," well, who's to say what's in that stuff.) Ruff Trigger will travel to three different planets in his efforts to recover all the lost goods. If he keeps his wits about him, he may also uncover a Vanacore plan to provide consumers with something more than animal companions and quenching beverages.
