Inspired by Oliver Stone's film, PLATOON (1985), the series grittily details a platoon of U.S. soldiers stationed in Vietnam and their various missions. Praised for its realism, it's not uncommon for major characters to meet sudden, violent ends. Featuring Hawaiian locations and a soundtrack of 60's pop music, TOUR OF DUTY has developed a loyal following over the years. This 5-DVD set contains all 21 episodes from the first season.
